Background & Approach

Megan holds an Honours B.Sc. in Kinesiology from York University and a Masters of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. She is an ACE Medical Exercise Specialist, a Mat Pilates instructor certified through Body Harmonics, and holds a Precision Nutrition certification. She has been teaching fitness and training individuals for over 15 years, competed in track and field (100m, high jump, 400m), and played team sports including Ultimate, Field Hockey, and Rugby.

Her clinical background gives her a deeper, more medically informed perspective than standard personal training alone. As a Medical Exercise Specialist, Megan works with clients whose conditions require a more medically informed programming approach, including post-surgical recovery, orthopaedic injuries, and complex health conditions. She brings intention and purpose to every session, with a particular focus on educating clients on proper form and technique so the progress they make in the gym translates to real life.

Megan believes in a holistic, realistic approach to health and wellness. She works alongside clients to build habits that extend beyond the gym: nutrition awareness, recovery practices, and movement that fits their actual lifestyle. Her goal is not just physical results but a lasting, positive impact on overall quality of life. She is known for taking people from "I have to exercise" to genuinely looking forward to their sessions.

At Kenaz Training in Langley, Megan works with clients in injury rehabilitation, post-surgical rehab, and personal training. She also incorporates Pilates principles into her programming for clients who benefit from core strength and movement re-education. She serves clients from Langley, Walnut Grove, Fort Langley, Aldergrove, Surrey, and across the Fraser Valley.

What Megan’s Clients Say

“Megan is an outstanding personal trainer whose expertise and support helped me to recover from injury and far surpass my original fitness goals.”
Tom Morgan
Injury Recovery Client
“Personal training has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made in my health, and Megan was there to take me — someone who had constant back pain and terrible posture — and patiently train me to where I am now. I couldn’t do the simplest hinge or squat properly, and my flexibility was nonexistent, but with Megan’s training, I can now snowboard, climb and hike all day. Megan is very kind and easygoing, and I can tell she takes great care in preparing my program.”
Pavel Efimov
Chronic Back Pain Client
“I trained with Megan both online and in-person for a long period of time. She is extremely supportive and really helped me maintain my strength training through active rehabilitation and health issues. Functional movement is everything and if something didn’t feel right she always had an alternative exercise to recommend.”
Lauren Sanders
Active Rehab Client
