WorkSafe Injury Recovery

Elite Sports Conditioning
Athletes who want sport-specific conditioning from someone who competed at the collegiate level in multiple sports. Marc brings real field experience to performance programming.
Youth Athletes
Young athletes in hockey, soccer, football, basketball, or volleyball who need structured athletic development from a coach who's done it himself. Marc competed in five sports at a high level, including collegiate soccer, and has coached youth athletes in four different sports — he knows what a season actually demands on a young athlete's body.
General Strength and Fitness
Adults looking to build strength, improve conditioning, and develop sustainable fitness habits with a kinesiologist who understands how the body adapts to progressive training.
Persistent Pain and Complex Injuries
Adults dealing with ongoing neck, shoulder, back, hip, or knee pain who need a thoughtful, progressive plan. Marc looks at the bigger movement picture, then builds training around what your body can handle and what you want to get back to.
Background & Approach
Marc came to kinesiology by a deliberate route. After spending years in construction, he made a full career switch driven by a genuine passion for exercise physiology and human movement. He had spent 15+ years competing in basketball, volleyball, football, rugby, and soccer at a high level, including collegiate soccer at Douglas College, and had coached youth athletes in four sports. He pursued his Kinesiology degree while working full time at Steve Nash Fitness and playing keeper for Douglas College soccer. He also taught at BCPTI and now works with ICBC and WorkSafe clients who need both structured rehabilitation and a plan for returning to work, sport, or daily life.
That combination, rigorous academic training, competitive sport experience, coaching youth, and working in a busy fitness environment, gave Marc a distinct dual niche: elite sports conditioning and severe ICBC and WorkSafe injury rehabilitation. His certifications reflect both sides, including ACE CPT, PTAGlobal CPT, TRX, Agatsu Kettlebell, Trigger Point Techniques, Group Cycling, and the Prepair2Perform system.
In the clinic, Marc is known for his methodical approach to complex cases. He focuses on understanding the full picture of a client's injury before building a program, and he is particularly skilled with persistent neck, shoulder, back, hip, and knee presentations that require both clinical precision and progressive loading to resolve. Clients often describe his sessions as perceptive and adaptable, meeting them where they are each day rather than following a rigid script.
Marc still plays soccer at a high recreational level. He works with clients at Kenaz Training in Langley, seeing people from Langley, Surrey, Walnut Grove, Aldergrove, and across the Fraser Valley.
