Background & Approach
Jessica has been practicing yoga since 2007 and teaching since February 2019. She completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training through the Vancouver School of Healing Arts (VSOHA), is registered with the Yoga Alliance, and has additionally trained in the Fundamentals of Restorative Yoga. Her classes cover hatha and vinyasa styles.
What sets Jessica apart is the foundation she brings from her parallel career. She has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2007, working with thousands of patients over nearly two decades. That clinical experience in anatomy and physiology informs every class she designs. She understands how bodies hold tension, where movement patterns break down, and how to use props and modifications to make yoga accessible to anyone regardless of age, fitness level, or injury history.
Jessica has also done extensive training in osteopathic techniques including visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and myofascial work. This depth of knowledge shapes how she approaches movement and breathwork. She truly believes in yoga's ability to help people manage pain, reduce stress, and lead their best lives.
At Kenaz Training, Jessica teaches group yoga classes in Langley. She brings a warm, knowledgeable approach that takes the intimidation out of yoga and makes it practical. Serving clients from Langley, Walnut Grove, Fort Langley, Aldergrove, and across the Fraser Valley.
