Background & Approach
Christina is a Registered Kinesiologist who graduated from Simon Fraser University with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology in April 2009. In the 14 years since, she has built one of the most specialized clinical profiles on the Kenaz team, working extensively in active rehabilitation, severe orthopaedic trauma, sport injuries, complex chronic pain, post-concussion syndrome, acquired brain injury, and stroke.
Her credentials reflect a deliberate focus on the hard cases. Beyond her BCAK registration, Christina holds certifications in Neurokinetic Therapy, the Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluation, Active Isolated Stretching, Complex Chronic Pain Management using Dermoneuromodulation, and Concussion Management. She has also trained in yoga for chronic back pain and kettlebell training, giving her additional tools for clients at different stages of recovery. Throughout her career she has worked alongside physical and occupational therapists, RMTs, chiropractors, neuropsychologists, counsellors, vocational rehab consultants, doctors, and lawyers, understanding how these systems intersect.
Christina's approach centres on mind and body awareness. She assesses postural alignment, joint mechanics, functional movement patterns, and muscle imbalances to build a more functional and symmetrical body. Her goal is always to decrease pain and increase stability, strength, and performance in daily life, work, and sport. She is known for finding underlying causes that other practitioners have missed, and for building programs that address those causes directly rather than managing symptoms.
At Kenaz Training in Langley, Christina sees clients for ICBC active rehab, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. She serves clients from Langley, Walnut Grove, Fort Langley, Aldergrove, Surrey, and across the Fraser Valley. Outside the clinic you will find her hiking, fishing, or mountain biking in the mountains and lakes of British Columbia.
