Background & Approach

Chelsea graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2017 with a degree in Kinesiology. She has been working in health and wellness for over 10 years, building expertise across strength and conditioning, cheerleading, yoga, and functional fitness. Her UBC education gave her a broad foundation in exercise science that informs everything she programs.

Chelsea specializes in dynamic exercise programs that combine functional strength training and cardiovascular work to improve muscle strength, core stability, and overall fitness. Her programs are built for real life: exercises clients can do in a gym, at home, or wherever they are, with progressions that make long-term improvement the default rather than the exception.

What makes Chelsea different is her approach to the whole person. She is known for going beyond the workout to support her clients' nutrition awareness and the emotional and psychological side of building a fitness habit. Clients consistently describe her as knowledgeable, authentic, and genuinely invested in their success. She does not deliver cookie-cutter programs. She builds individualized strategies based on each person's preferences, schedule, and areas for improvement.

Chelsea coaches clients online across Canada and trains in person at our private studio in Langley, BC. Her motto is that if you don't make time for exercise now, you will make time for injury and illness later. At Kenaz Training, she delivers online coaching available to clients anywhere in Canada, alongside in-person personal training services in Langley.
