She has 12 years’ experience in active rehabilitation, severe orthopaedic trauma and soft tissue injuries, sport injuries, complex chronic pain, post-concussion syndrome, acquired brain injury and stroke. Christina focuses on mind and body awareness, assessing and treating postural and joint alignment, functional movement patterns and muscle imbalances to create a more functional and symmetrical body, decreasing pain and increasing stability, movement, strength and performance.
Throughout her career, she has worked alongside with Physical and Occupational Therapists, Registered Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Counsellors, Neuropsychologists, Cognitive Behavioral and Speech Therapists, Vocational Rehab Consultants, doctors, lawyers and case managers. She focuses on functional-based training to achieve return to daily life demands, work and sport.
Christina has also worked with adults and children athletes at all levels of sports, including rugby, lacrosse and softball by providing first aid for acute injuries. She enjoyed helping them to prevent injury and optimize performance.
Growing up, Christina played many sports from soccer, softball and basketball, volleyball and cross country and track field. Outside of the clinic, you'll find Christina fishing or hiking in British Columbia's beautiful mountains and lakes. She enjoys gardening, yoga, strength training, road and mountain biking, cooking and baking.
“Christina really pays close attention to your injuries by completing thorough assessments and monitoring for pain symptoms. She is super easy going and builds an exercise plan which will allow for progressive strengthening, even for those with chronic pain, there is still hope for continuous improvement when under her care. She is flexible and communicates back and forth with her clients to tackle pain areas and to make sure schedules align. Would definitely recommend her to everyone that comes across her, you won't be disappointed!”
